A SUDDEN PACT
Essential dent or
Incident
That making is to make of accident
must be
the truth, untranslated.
Ex-
Act example: sunset’s
Red redistribution
of what
once was
Pled in place of place—
Violation
of a
long-dead ideal of land
as hand
of understanding.
The deal made, the spoken
Broken
By the next breath, & the next

THOUGHTS TO NO END
1.
The location of any point on a line is fixed with respect
to the line’s endpoints.
2.
The location of any point on an infinite line is
indeterminable with respect to its place in the series.
3.
The line is unable to locate itself within itself.
4.
The infinite line’s points dance & leap among
themselves, trading positions, ultimately coinciding.
5.
An infinite line can only be manifested within finitude
as a single dimensionless point.
6.
That point is as close to nothing as something can be.
Piercing in its presence.
A GREED
Each of us is in each of us, agreed?
—moral
imperative,
imperial dissolve—
There
was not always breathable air.
But once the flowers
breathed
out, we could breathe in.
There’s a name for that
Feeling
before
anything happens.
It’s thought.
AHEAD OF TIME
No peace in pieces.
All shards
charades
of the
one & only thing.
For
matter, magnified, dissolves.
To see to seed—
x
is what
peeks
through the appearances.
Sorry, peaks—
So will will err—
& in this well of air, blow
the, a,
the, a, the
Bell-sound of
Last belief.
NOT TO SELF
this stuff we’re made of has a mind of its own
I ask you
I ask you
if, then if, then if
new was once
the past tense of know
with one
over one unwon
using the over-
possessive pronoun, you sing
